Labor Day can be defined as "an annual holiday devoted to the recognition of working people's contribution to society." I have a sweet spot in my heart for Labor Day. It marks the day that my life changed, and my real work began. Last year, on this very day, my water broke. Hours of labor brought us to the morning of September 3rd at 1:35 am, when Jackson Robert Wells was delivered into this world.
This blog is intended to be a tribute to my son - to a tiny person in this world that has taught me the biggest lessons in life already. As his first birthday approaches, I plan to write each day for this year of his life. I want to see 365 days of life through the eyes of a child and learn that there is a little slice of heaven in each day, that we often oversee.
