Dear Jackson,
It is Friday, thank goodness, as made it through another week of work and daycare. This week, your friend Ella joined you in your toddler class. You adore her. If Ella takes Thomas the Train out of your hand, you don't throw a fit. You actually let her have it willingly. If she pulls your hair, you just turn away and ignore her. You throw her kisses and wave goodbye when you come and go. It's always nice to see Ella in the morning and know you have a friend in your class. It makes the drop off a little easier on your mama's heart.
Just last night, your daddy and I talked about how "EASY" the routine is right now, and how the last couple weeks have been really joyful. We gave ourselves a solid B+ with regards to parenting skills at the moment. But alas, we are hanging on with bated breath, because we are certain the next stage of toddlerhood is about to take hold. Whatever that is?? Whenever we feel like we have it all figured out, you throw us for a loop and shake things up a bit. Another stage in inevitably begins, and we learn things we didn't even know that we didn't know. Ignorance is bliss.
