Just a little note of thanks to the Grammie, Great Grammie, and the Nana in Jackson's life. He is so blessed to have two loving grandmothers and a Great Grammie - all of whom would do anything for him. When he goes to their houses on weekends, he adores the time they have together. It is so evident. At Nana's, they play bus, read, go for walks, and he hangs out with the ladies. At Grammies, they play trucks, march in parades, jump around, and scope out the nature in the backyard. He is so lucky to be surrounded by amazing women, full of wisdom, experience, and stability . . .
The whole thing got me thinking today, about the perfect age for motherhood. Every decade brings something positive, but wouldn't it be grand if we could take the following and just wrap it up into one?
The free spirit, fun loving, spontaneous life in your twenties.
The cautious, but eager and optimistic attitude in your thirties.
The stability, reliability, and hopefulness in your forties.
The wisdom, humor, and happiness in your fifties.
The time, clarity, and joy in life sixty and beyond.
I wish you could bottle wisdom. I would buy some. I would spend good money for it too.

And he's doubly blessed with two extra great parents. :)
