This week, Jackson said his first 2 word combination! He was in the car, looking out the window, when a truck passed us by. Waving, Jackson said "Buh Bye Truck." It was a sweet moment."Hi guys, hi mama, hi dada, and hi baby" are now in constant rotation. When I left the room today and said "I love you," I swear that he mimicked it. Any word is fair game now.
I'm glad that this language explosion is happening. It's perfect timing, because the tantrums are directly related to having so much in his brain, but no way to get it out. I can't imagine having a sore throat and not being able to articulate that and get medicine. Or, feeling parched and not being able to get my own drink. A few signs have helped, but I am looking forward to him being able to tell me what he needs.
