Year 1, Day 188

Jackson began his morning with a great big hug from an older woman.  Walking in daycare, he was greeted by a preschooler - 2 years his senior, that bear hugged him twice and repeatedly stated "you are SOOO cute."  Jackson flashed the look that said "what the heck is this girl doing??" But, after the shock wore off, he let her goo goo and gaa gaa all over him, and he let out a sheepish grin. A small part of him enjoyed the attention from an older girl.

On a side note, "Patsy" is sleeping outside in our Corolla tonight. It would be an easy fix to just go out and grab it, but the car is actually parked about 20 miles away, at school this evening.  He was left there by mistake. To make up for my stupidity, I did my best to make his bed a playground filled with other special friends to cause distraction, but all I can do is cross my fingers and hope.  Oh look! Trumpet is waiting to say hello, and he had been lost behind the crib for days, so I'm hoping he'll be overjoyed with his reunion and forget Patsy is *missing*.  Don't we have a rule that Patsy doesn't leave the house? I thought so too. He musta swiped him under his coat when I wasn't looking . . .
