It's 6:45 and it's still light outside! Granted, we lost an hour of sleep, but I'd give up 3 hours of nightly sleep if it meant another hour of sunshine. I am so thankful for this first sign of Spring! It's not like we suffered through a long winter packed with snow and freezing temps, but I have just had enough. I am ready for the sunshine and warmth.
Jackson "tweet, tweet, tweeted" at all the birds today. He laughed at the rain as it tickled his scrumptous little cheeks. And, he ran outside without turning into a posicle! All are great signs of defrost. I am ready to unpack my spring/summer clothes and put away all reminders of winter. I don't want to see another fleecy jammie with built in feet, another puffy snowsuit or mismatched mitten . . . praise for the Spring and the
warm weather around the corner.
