Year 1, Day 202

Jackson learned the best word today, and he vocalized it at very unlikely time. During one of his most dreaded daily events (the diaper change), he shouted out "Happy!"  I doubt that he was really happy - maybe he was confusing "ticked off" with happy . . . but whatever the case, it was beautiful to hear.
I also think he said "bitch."
Maybe he has a friend named "Mitch" that I am unaware of . . .

Anyway, Jackson's favorite word is absolutely "TRUCK", hands down.  He practices it everyday from morning to bed, with varying inflection. We've got trrrrruck, trUCK, and TRUCK. Everything with wheels is a truck, and not one passes by on the highway without hearing a clear "HI! TRUCK!" from Jack each morning. The drivers have no idea that they are this little boy's biggest fan. He is obsessed. I think they should have truck shows, like air shows, where all different kinds of tractors, dump trucks, loaders, back hoes, and fire engines just congregate and stand ready for little kids to drool over.

Jackson's heaven right now: A combination of his two favorite things in this world - icecream and trucks.  Drive over an icecream truck that serves endless amounts of popsicles and Hoodsie Cups. Could there be a better heaven for a 18 month old??
