Year 1, Day 278

Ingenious. What could be a bigger draw for children, than a parking lot filled with every vehicle they can imagine? It's a parking lot filled with vehicles they can touch and climb of course!! The "heaven on earth" is Touch a Truck day in Charlestown.

We went to this event as part of a birthday for Jackson's friend, Quinn. Walking into a parking lot filled with a sampling of vehicles, ranging from an ambulance, tractor trailer, military, and buses of all kinds, it was quite a sight! Cautious and observant at first, Jackson took it all in.  Once we took him on the bus, he warmed up to his surroundings, and made his way around the lot stomping through puddles and loving just being outside.

Again, the perfect end to a wonderful weekend, as we spent the afternoon in a park for Quinn's birthday. The celebration took place between the storms.  It's as if the rain held out for these perfect moments. Back to the grind tomorrow. It's weekends like these that can propel you through a tough week.

We were so glad you three came!! It was fun to see the boys in their element -- trucks and parks. Can't beat that!! Thanks for helping us celebrate. :) xoxo
