Year 1, Day 129
Jackson's favorite book is "My Daddy and I" given to him by two friends - the delightful duo, Quinn and Cole. He does not like the baby "classics", and I really don't blame him. Have you ever sat and forced yourself NOT to yawn out of sheer boredom while reading GOODNIGHT MOON? Maybe that's the point I suppose. It is a literary sleeping pill. I was never a fan, so I don't know use the right inflection when saying "goodnight spoon" or "goodnight porridge" good enough to keep his interest. Who eats porridge anyway?

So glad he likes that book! It's still a fave here too. And I'm with you on "Goodnight Moon." Never understood the thrill, never will...
