Year 1, Day 167

Three hours waiting in urgent care surrounded by sick people with masks on, coughing up lungs, and a person ready to pass out in pain (his finger was hit with an electric hammer, repeatedly). There we sat, stood, ran, played ball, drank, ate, and DID anything we could to distract Jackson as we waited for his sick appointment.  His ear infection, in his tubes, came back with a vengeance this weekend.

We suffered through the wait, and the germs, and we are no better than we were this morning. She told us nothing we didn't know, and started him on another round of Amoxicillan . . . getting a second opinion tomorrow.

Exhausted.

Good night.

oh NOES! I was worried when I didn't see you this morning!!
poor little baby, I hope he's feeling a little better - you aren't missing much on this front except a day where the faculty got dismissed so they could get home safely in the snow, but the admins have to stick it out till four??
