Year 1, Day 230

I've finally deciphered the language of a nineteen month old!! I hold the secret to years of wonder. It is simple. I found that children of this age live their lives in antonyms.  They hear one thing and practice the exact opposite.  Here are my examples from this evening:

No = Yes
Stop = Try harder.
Get down = Climb higher into danger...and jump.
Come here = Run away fast and don't look back.
Quiet = Scream your lungs out until my ears bleed.
Be nice to the kitty = Pull kitty's tail and drag him 5 feet.

We are working on synonyms this week...
